Does anyone know if there’s a way to limit a gift certificate until a certain date?

By default there’s no option to set the date until which the certificate is valid, if I’m not mistaken.
But you are able to cancel certificate on the Gift certificate detailed information in the field Status.
In the field message it’s possible to specify the date and the customer will know that gift certificate will be valid until the exact date.
As to setting date - it’s possible with promotions.
