I have installed the trial version and have been getting things configured. Things seem to be working well. My SSL is worling and setting up the Auth Net gateway was straightfoward.
Question…
In my current cart we use Auth Net SIM integration which as I understand it just passes the cart to Auth Net where credit card data is collected on their site. We never see the Credit Card.
Is CS Cart collecting the credit card info and is the credit card info being stored in the SQL DB. If so, is it encrypted.
I saw something in the Admin section where I could delete the CC info from the order…what does that do?
Could yuo explain the actual process of what is happening with credit card numbers, what is being collected where etc,
I am thinking we may need to update our Privacy Statement based on how things work in the CS Cart ↔ Auth Net AIM environment.
