Gdpr Addon For 4Xx

what you mention is not cookie relative

its all under the GDPR consent a d you need to implement a checkbox in the screen you are gathering the email or data with a checkbox.

We have already build a few addons with this checbox in checkout implemented as seperate checkbox and text.

COokies are mostly about the plain visitor (no personal data involved) so you are covered in our aproach

Whateer we wont cover we will offer as customization

I realize these aren't specific questions for your addon. Just trying to clarify what I (as an addon provider) need to do to ensure my EU clients are in compliance. I know that opt-in checkboxes need to be unchecked by default but outside of that, who is responsible for ensuring that (for example) Klavio is authorized to collect personal data for a customer on a site (especially given the data collection starts when they first enter the site)? How about navigation tracking based on IP that may start before any dialog appears to the customer? I'm assuming any tracking script would not be enabled until the user has opt-d in?

When I go to demo.cs-cart.com (V4.7.4) the home page has no dialog as to whether I authorize them to transmit or collect any personal info like IP. I guess it's possible that they don't use GA for the demo site but I'd bet they track my IP internally and that it's stored in the sessions table as well as the statistics data; but how would this be handled? I can switch this conversation over to the general GDPR thread if you like, don't want to pollute your addon functionality with basics that should be in the core. Maybe the demo site should enable GA so we can all see how it's going to appear to customers.

Hi,

our client bought your addon, but it didnt work correct.

The Addon Setting "GDPR" didnt load.

And unfer the newsletterbox is "12312" visible that is hardcoded in

/responsive/templates/addons/gdpr/overrides/addons/newsletters/blocks/static_templates/subscribe.tpl

we fixes the "12312" but what is with the addons settings?

This didnt look very professional.

Fotis

Will this cookie opt out / opt in law addon of yours conflict with the current Simtech (CS Cart) GDPR addon and or the default Simtech (CS Cart) Cookie Law addon?

I am on version V4.7.4 by the way

Is it actually mandatory to give customers an option for just minimal amount of just functional cookies and or have them also opt out or just opt in for also accepting cookies for GA, social media links etc?

Our new GDPR Cookie law addon is almost Ready

Hi Fotis, any news about the cookie add-on? Thanks!

Hi

Cookie addon is rolling out. It jsut takes time as there are too many of them to be send

Hi,

The layout of the cookie add-on provides a strong encouragement to turn off all the cookies and has a big potential to turn off users not interested in GDPR. Could you consider hiding the cookie setting behind 'advanced settings' button and defaulting to 'accept all cookies', like most website do (just a one example: https://addons.prestashop.com/demo/FO13605.html)?

Thank!

We can do this

http://ez-cart.com/cs463/

where you can hide the sliders abd ask the visitor to change them by clicking on the link below

state1.png

It opens to hoose the details

hidden.png

You can set the default state to open or close . so you can have it all the time open

not-hidden.png

I agree, this is the best option http://ez-cart.com/cs463/

Keeps it simple

JOhn

Yes this is very nice. Is this version finished already?

Will I be able as store admin / cs cart rookie theme editor to match the look of this addon the look of our store? Also... how many scripts does it reckonize? Hotjar for instance as well ?

You can always play with css and achievw the look you want

It recognizes popular scripts. We can add your script for a small price.

This approach looks really good. I have one suggestion.

americangreetings.com has the cookies grouped under 4 headings: Marketing& Advertising, Analytics, Social & Support, Essential(necessary to the function of the site and not available for opt out)

I assume those categories would encompass almost all cookies.

Is anyone using this GDPR cookie popup from dvs.gr successfully out of the box or does it require additional code to work correctly?

I can't seem to find the list of people that request a file or anonamization.. I also don't see a place to send the file.

Is there any documentation for this?

Hi

you are not describing gdpr cookie law (https://www.cscart.biz/gdpr-cookie-responsive.html) but the Advacned GDPR Addon (https://www.cscart.biz/advanced-gdpr-addon-cs-cart-4.x.html) which is a seperate addon.

Fotis

Fortis,

Sorry I must be confused. When I look at the settings this is what I see (file attached)[attachment=13504:cookie law setting pg.png]

It looks like "cookie law" that I have a license for.

Am I wrong?

Thank you
