Heads up fellow cs-cart users there is a bug in returns that when the return_period is attached to the order_details of an order it does not use the return period as set on the product but only the value of 1.
This basically causes all return periods for all products to be 1 day. CS-Cart acknowledged this bug and said it should be fixed in the next version. in the meantime you can ask in help desk for the fix im not sure what they did to fix mine but they did get it fixed.
Just another reason why I havent upgraded to 3.0…too many problems.
