If we are lucky it won't take centuries to finish. I mean, look at how loooooooong it took just to implement the email templates thing. Cart-Power had this feature since 2015. So basically it took cs-cart 2 YEARS TO DEVELOP. Perhaps maybe time to speed things up CS-Cart?

Agreed. CS-Cart is constantly moving and making improvements. I have been using CS-Cart since 2012 and I can tell without doubt they came along way but the technology is moving much faster than CS-Cart. They are having hard time to keep up and also it seems there are cultural limitations. If CS-Cart was an American company, they would have been in talks with Cart-Power for mergers-acquisition to unite their powers and increase their market share in the global ecommerce market.
CS-Cart is doing everything in house and by themselves at much slower pace than everybody expects them. We, store owners, are under huge pressure because Amazon, Walmart, Ebay and all the big boys have 5-10 CS-Cart size team at their disposal at any given time and they are constantly evolving while we are waiting for CS-Cart and small development firms to help. It is a losing game but we are kinda stuck at the moment.

I have been happy with how easy it is to customise CS-CART, but the speed of development (or lack of) from CS-CARTS end is frustrating. And for a paid product to be asking for us to make commits of our own is a little cheeky.
BTW, I tried the full page cache addon before and while it worked for a single storefront, it wasn't perfect and took a little bit of customisation.

Full-page cache add-on is not a part of a paid product (which are CS-Cart and MVE) in any way. It is an open-sourced tool for developers and integrators.
All recent CS-Cart versions will be supported, starting from 4.3.6.

Then don't use it for an excuse, if you tell us that this isnt part of the paid product then finish what the community asks first, for example:
1. You want to implement twig instead of smarty? Well, maybe you should implement decent caching first, it's probably one of the most controversial topics on the forum and you continueusly redirect us to the full page cache add-on. So please don't use it as an excuse not to implement for example litespeed.
2. Grow with the technology. We had the upgrade to PHP 7.0 recently but yet I haven't heard anything for the CDN package fix?
3. Decrease page loading times. If the store loads fast and works nobody will wonder what is going on. But if you are implementing all kinds of new things before they have been tested nor have been optimised it WON't WORK.
4. Hire third party developers if you can't handle the pressure. Well how do you ask? Promote CS-Cart, right now you are just waiting for the community to recommend CS-Cart but after all, the only known ecommerce systems are PrestaShop, Magento and Shopify. So please step up your game.
You are a professional company that has costumers with high expectations and we understand that not everything can be developped. But using excuses that aren't even worth mentioning is just weird.
