From which address does UPS use to calculate shipping?

Does UPS use “Default Location” in settings/general or address in settings/company ?

Or does UPS already have this info from my UPS account?

I can not seem to find this info in knowledge base.

If the user is logged in, then the shipping estimator will use their address. If not, then the default address or the country/state/zip specified in the estimator.

My shipping estimates were really off from UPS.

Well I submitted a help ticket and there is a bug that will be fixed.

Seems that all the info was not being submitted to ups for rate quotes.
