Free Shipping over X $?

Is there a way to set free shipping over say $25 in purchased items?

image is not using weight dependancies.

Nice. Thanks =)

Or maybe you could set a cart promotion of product subtotal =>25 get free shipping.

Dave

Like it Dave, works great.

Rob.

make sure if you use the cart promotion…if you have product options, you set the check box to “include all options” otherwise it will only apply to the default product

John

Thanks for the tip John.

Rob

Is there a way to set it to exclude certain items? I have some items for $40, that will cost me $25 to ship, and dont want those to be available in the free shipping over X price options

for that you will be better to use the cart promotion way, and add a condition for "product not in2 or “products in” and add or don not add whichever products you want.

John

Ummm yeah that should be fun, never messed with those settings lol

Could you happen to walk me through this? Was looking at the promotions section, and confused all to hell lol! Thanks

see screen shot of sample added cart promo, this will give free shipping over 50 but will not apply it to the pants.

then in bonuses tab you just set it to free shipping method you want…

i added another condition to get the"add products not in" bit.

I assume you use the “Bonus” tab and select the free shipping there?

Im having a problem. It is ALWAYS showing free shipping option that I have made for orders over $25 to US/Canada

[sup]You have an absolute phucking mess! ;-) [/sup]

[sup]The problem is the entries within your “Cost Dependencies” (the way you now have it you will be charging $25.00 shipping regardless of the size of the order, for all orders from $0.00 to Infinity, try adding a figure higher than zero dollars to the first line entry) Or, better yet create a “Realtime” ground shipping method, and tie this into your Free Shipping Promotion in the “Bonus” section.[/sup]

John; Great tip, really works nicely and is quite adjustable. I added a couple of conditions to limit it to the lower 48 states and exclude “countries” like Guam.

On a related note, I am trying to figure out how to limit my customers from using priority mail for orders over $200. I'm thinking that creating some sort of related store promo would work, but then how to I dis-allow priority mail as a shipping method otherwise…I'm a little lost.

Any Ideas?

TIA,

Hi All,

Thanks you for your greate thread. I have the same question but i don't know how to config.
[]Order less than 80 US-Dollar
Shipping will caculate by weight.
[
]Order = 80 US-Dollar will be free shipping
How could i config this? I noted that i could do free shipping with order = or > 80$. But <80$ will be caculate by value(cost) not weight.

I tried to do follow attached image. But it didn't do free shipping for my order >80$.

I am listen your recommend.

Thanks you!

This is a good question which has not been answered. I believe that this is not possible because if both weight and cost dependencies are specified, then one is added to the other. An example of this is given at CS-Cart Documentation — CS-Cart 4.15.x documentation

Is this correct?

I eventually got it working. Have no idea how the hell I did it lol.

Trying to go over it on my site. Looks like I did something with:

Products>Promotions, setup general tab with whatever, conditions (mine is over 50 free ship) so in conditions I have: greater 49.99. In group at bottom I have “If ANY of these conditions are TRUE” which leads to Customer Country, United States. Then on BONUS tab, I have it “Budget Shipping” and in shipping section you just make whatever one you want as free shipping, then select that in the BONUS tab. Hope that helps, I suck at explaining things =)
