Featured products

Hi,



I’m having a play with the featured products but am getting a little confused…


  1. How is a product defined as “featured”? Is this only done from admin → Look and Feel → Organise index page? What if want some products marked as “featured” to show in the categories but not on the homepage?


  2. How do I show featured products in the category/subcategory pages?



    I cannot seem to find the answers in the manual.

To add featured products to cats/subcats



you need to click “manage categories” the featured box appears at hte bottom of every page.



for example
