wonderful, all is well now thank you. Is there any chance of a like box to sit on the homepage for the default url?
I added a new block type called ‘Facebook like box’. Now you will be able to place the like box where necessary.
actually, it’s still not quite working how it should I still get this on some products, the cache has been cleared etc etc. I have worked out that this will occur when another block is active which we have at the bottom of the page which has an also_bought filing block active on the same page. When the also bought block is disabled or removed then the second “like” button dissapears.
It was fixed.
I have 2 issues:
- The product image does not show in FB when you enter a comment.
- I can’t use both the like button and the comments tab. It looks like it’s either or… How can I do to have both the Like button show next to the image and a Comment tab in the Products tabs?
Thanks for the great mod!
I added one more type of the “Like it” button. Now, if the ‘Button + Comments’ type is selected, the “Like it” button and the block with comments will be displayed simultaneously.
Works well, thanks!
Just one little question… can you make it an option so it doesn’t show faces of people already liking a product? It makes it kinda messy I think,
I removed displaying of peoples’ faces already liking a product.
This is working well, i believe I have found a bug if you can be so kind to correct it?
When you use “required products” on a product. Click on the required product tab and “be the first of your friends to like this” shows up twice in that tab…probably best to remove it altogether if possible in that tab or at least remove one instance?
Can you help with this?
It was fixed.
Too bad this mod is not working right. If a facebook user adds a comment for Product A, it shows up on all other products… Are you getting this as well?
It was fixed.
Product image selected to be displayed in FB is not consistant - Sometimes it selects the correct image sometimes not.
For example I enabled the: Use “Value changer” for the Quantity field option and the Facebook like link showed the Up arrow image from the Value Changer.
Image consisancy fix required.
I am looking for the ways how to resolve this problem.
Also noticed that XHTML 1.0 Validation errors are given with the Facebook plugin:

Error:
Line 129, Column 42: document type does not allow element “div” here; assuming missing “object” start-tag

Error:
Line 132, Column 8: required attribute “type” not specified
The attribute given above is required for an element that you've used, but you have omitted it. For instance, in most HTML and XHTML document types the "type" attribute is required on the "script" element and the "alt" attribute is required for the "img" element.
Typical values for type are type="text/css" for and type="text/javascript" for .
Error:
Line 161, Column 7: end tag for "object" omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified
You may have neglected to close an element, or perhaps you meant to "self-close" an element, that is, ending it with "/>" instead of ">".

I am investigating it now.
