Is there anyway to export customers and the categories they ordered from.?? Trying to start segregated emailing list…
Our mailchimp addon will do this automatically for all orders where customer has opt-ed in. The “segmentation” is available in mailchimp.com for segmenting your marketing email. Supports full mailchimp segmentation info like category, product code, order amount, address fields, etc.
Thanks Tony, Unfortunately we don't use mail-chimp. In house systems. Just looking for a way to export customers info along with the categories they've ordered from. We get a lot of flack when we send a hunting orientated email to someone what is only ordering religious decals. Visa Versa… Seems like there's got to be a way. Even a simple add-on someone can make…
As with most things, if there isn't something built-in that fits your needs, you can always create a custom addon.
If you want to do something “going forward” it is a lot easier than trying to capture history and also go forward.
Given what you're trying to do, I would do a small function (php hook) that would create a CSV file for you that would have a line per order. You'd then upload it and remove the file and then it would re-create starting with the next order. That's about the simplest way. Drop me a private email (not a PM) or go to the link in my signature and I'll be happy to work with you to define and develop what you need.
Hi purchased the mail chimp add on trying to visit your site and getting only this

Hi Lazy,
Appreciate the exact error message, but I'm not able to reproduce it. When I click the padlock in the address bar, it tells me things are valid and the appropriate certificate authority chain seems to be in place. What browser/version are you using? I connect via both FF and Chrome from here, but obviously I'm not seeing the issue, otherwise I'd certainly try to address it.
I am undergoing some PCI certification changes to my server so possibly this was something intermittent while the hosting is trying to address some issues?
