on line 217 I found this : $data[$vars[$i++]] = unserialize($vars[$i]);
on line 555 I fond this : 'data' => self::encode(array('settings' => $sess_data['settings'])),
Im getting this same thing.
This has been reported to cs-cart for about 2 years now and all that is said is that they are not able to replicate. I still have clients on current version that get this error. It usually occurs when accessing the site for the first time (I.e. new session) and on the first page only. It has been reported in bugtracker with a can't reproduce type of response. But a wide variety of merchants experience it.
