Emails Failing To Customers

A lot of customers are saying they are not getting confirmation/shipping emails

This has been a long term problem and some customers have found the emails in the spam

But lately no one seems to be getting emails

And i've started getting this

ErrorMessage could not be sent.

Mailer Error: SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.

I have not changed my email settings/password anything like that

What is causing this problem?


could be many things incl possible server changes speak to host

and check smtp setting in settings>email

Need to check with the host of your SMTP server what settings to use. With PCI changes, sometimes you need to use non-standard ports.
