Editing subscribe Mail List Box

Hi,



I really want to be able to edit the Subscribe to mailing list Block.



I want to make HTML format the default



Be able to insert a small image/icon in the box to birghten iit up a little. Maybe just a small envelope or a button image under the wrapper.



Anyone know which files and code to edit to do this ?



Help would be appreciated.

Another option would be to use a static image as link to a page with the email input box and the “subscribe” go button.



Can we edit the “Go” button text to say “Subscribe” or something else… and how do I create a new page / form which will facilitate newsletter signup this way.

I'm looking for this too.

I tried Design • Blocks • All Pages and Home Page……but don't see the text.

Help please.

It all depends on the skin you are using as the text and button text may be hard-coded into the template files, or as it should be done, via language variables. Go to Administration>Languages and search for some of the words you are looking for and you might get lucky…if not, the template is likely to be: addons/news_and_emails/blocks/static_templates/subscribe.tpl
