Editing an order-is total amount charged again?

We have an order that has been processed and payment made through PayPal. The customer called and ordered the wrong size clamp. We edited the order and the total amount changed by 1.00. But the final screen says “process payment” and it shows the order total of around 70.00.



Will it charge the customer the total amount again or just the 1.00 that is the difference owed?

By doing as you explained the entire order amount would be charged. For a difference of one dollar, you would most likely be best to just reduce the order amount to match the original paypal transaction amount and call it a day. ;-)
