Editing an order (adding an item)

A customer placed an order today, but left off a required item. Basically it is a surcharge for shipping an aquarium directly to his home instead of shipping it to the shipping hub.

Anyways, I am trying to figure out how to edit his order without having to call him and inconvenience him. The price has already been quoted and agreed upon so there is no problem there.

What I need is a step by step procedure on how to add this to his order. The amount is $80.47.

I typically just edit the order via the backend by finding the order and clicking the edit button next to the print invoice button.

Since it is a required field I’m assuming you already have the item created and just need to add it to the order.
