"Edit in visual HTML editor" not working

First, Hello! I am a newbie and have a small “homemade” store with PayPal checkout that I am upgrading to CS-Cart. So far I’m finding my way around fairly well. There is a lot to learn and remember as with any powerful software.



My “Edit in visual HTML editor” does not work and I placed a ticket to find out if it’s my OS, browser, etc. If anyone has had this problem and has a fix please post.

The HTML Editor opens in a new window, are you sure your popup blocker is not stopping it from opening?

Thanks for reply. Yes, the window opens. I should rephrase, the “Edit in visual HTML editor” doesn’t work properly. The editor shows the changes I make but when I “Update” they don’t take affect.

Just checking the obvious in case it was overlooked.



Once editing is complete you would hit “Save”. Then you would hit the “Update” button in admin. Once this is done you need to Refresh the page you are trying to review that has been updated. Leaving out any of these steps will cause the change not to take place.



I only mention this as every once in a while I get in a hurry and forget a step. Normally I end up forgetting to hit the update button before trying to refresh the page. Just a thought.

I followed all the proper steps. I have two unanswered tech support tickets. I should know something soon. There may be a problem with my server files.
