I have a client that wants a part number to be generated based on the options selected by the customer.
An example would be:
customer selects option
Aluminum
builds part # “al”
customer then selects option
3/8
adds to part number to get “al-38”
customer then selects option
green
adds to part number to get “al-38-gr”
customer makes purchase and the dynamically created part number is included in the order. This is one of several mods that I need built. I have contacted the development team but have yet to get a response after a couple days. I need to have these done as soon as possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Inside product “options” you can create “combinations” with all of your options and assign different product codes to any option.
I think this is the most easy way.
