If you downgrade from say 2.1.3 to 2.1.2 via the upgrade centre,
Does it just revert the database to the saved version at that time?
Or does it downgrade the current database and new orders/product invetorys to the earlier database version?

Restores it to the state it was in when you upgraded.
Yes, you will loose any new orders that were placed. So you should export your data before reverting so you have the ability to at least get to the info.
They do not really ‘revert’, they ‘restore’.
Hi stephen, although this is not a reply to your post, I was wondering if the ver 2.1.3 is not yet stable for live. Can you let us know the issues you are facing as there are many of us here who are still in a confusion whether to upgrade.
