I’d like to make a window that pops up when a visitor leaves the site without making a purchase. Make an offer or ask them why they did not purchase.
Has anyone done this or seen it work with CSC?
This was a tactic used many years ago. One that went away due to it’s annoying nature and lack of professionalism. People window shop, don’t drive them away from ever returning with an annoying popup.
I do agree that it can be annoying, but its something that can’t hurt in the application we are using. We do not have repeat business, it’s not part of our business model, so the only chance we have is usually the first or second vist, max.
