Do themes/templates made for 2.2.3 work with 2.2.4?

I could like to know if themes/templates made for 2.2.3 are compatible with 2.2.4.

I have found nice templates in various vendors that in their specifications say 2.2.3 but my clients like them and would like to to use them.
