Hi
I have set up a product filter for the brands of my store.
What i need to do is to display a dropdown with this filter in all my store pages.
So i created a new block with product filters in it, selected my filter in the content and for the wrapper: On-click dropdown.
I have put this to the default location at the top. But the dropdown does not appear in the storefront.
Strange thing is that if i set up the same product filter to another location i.e. Homepage>under the main content, i am able to see both! At the top & at the main content.
Does anyone know what's causing this? Or if there is another way to set this up?

Thank you for your request.
A block with product filters is supposed to be displayed only on category pages (location Categories (categories.view)) or on the home page of your CS-Cart store. Unfortunately, it is not possible to set up standard CS-Cart in the way so that this block can be displayed on all CS-Cart pages.

Ok but even if i display it only on the homepage and the categories, i still can't get it to go above the main horizontal menu. on the top.
It is used by the default location, in which i can't put a product filter. Is there any other workaround?

If I understand you correctly, I have added a block with product filters above the top menu without any problems. Please have a look at the screenshots attached to my post.
If there is some misunderstanding on my side, please clarify your issue in more detail so that I could provide you with a proper answer. Otherwise, if I understand you correctly and you still experience this issue, we should better examine this problem directly on your server. Please contact us via Customer Help Desk and provide temporary access to your server by clicking on the Add record link on the Access information page of your Help Desk account so that we could examine the issue.

You understand perfectly correct. This is exactly what i am after! The problem is that even though i have set it up like in your thumbnails, i can't see the filter in the frontend.
Did you set this to the default or in the homepage location?

I have set it up in the Default location. In the block options, I used Original in the Template drop-down list and I did not select any wrapper for this block and did not define any CSS classes. Maybe this information will help you.

Really doesn't make any sense. I am using the exact same settings and no change is visible!
Below the top area do you have any other instance of product filters? Or the one at the top is the only one?

I am using the default CS-Cart installation with demo data. No changes were made by me to the CS-Cart settings or demo data. I have only created the Product filters block above the Top menu one.
