Hi, does anyone know of any way to disable the “update” message in the back end, I am concerned my client will click on it and possibly mess up the custom templates I had designed for them.
Thanks!
Lee
Edit the database table cscart_settings.
Search for an 'option_name' of 'auto_check_updates'
Change the 'value' column to 'N'
clear your store cache
I can't see where they have an interface for this setting, but it does exist in 2.2.3 in the database.

Where did you get that link from?
Go to your cpanel and click the phpMyAdmin icon in the Database section. Then click the appropriate database and table.
