Delete Product Takes too long

Anyone have problems deleting products ? I can delete 2 or 3 products at a time which take ages but if I try more I get a server error which I suspect means it's timing out.



Just wondering if it's a php setting or something easy, I'm using cloud hosting and all other things seem swift enough.

Unfortunately, I cannot tell you what exactly caused this issue. Please try clearing the template cache first. To do it, open in your browser: http://www.your_doma…om/admin_new.php?cc, where www.your_domain.com is the address of your store and admin_new.php is the new name given to the admin.php file. Before clearing the template cache you should be logged in to the administration panel of your store.



If these actions do not help you, the problem requires examination on your server. Please contact us via Customer Help Desk and provide temporary access to your server by clicking on the Add record link on the Access information page of your Help Desk account so that we could examine the issue.

Got my host looking into it, cleared the ceche but the site is not live yet anyway. I can only delete products 2 at a time. I can't give access to the server at the moment while host is looking. Any other ideas ?

Unfortunately, I do not have any other ideas regarding this matter. In order to learn what exactly causes this issue we need to examine it in your server. Once you have the ability to provide temporary FTP access to your server please do not hesitate to contact us via Customer Help Desk and provide temporary access. I've found the problem, well got around it.



The products were in a category as follows;



ROOT

---- Category

------- Level 2 Category <---------HERE



I moved them to the ROOT and now I can delete them without any issues.
