I am planning a promotion where the customer buys 3 items but only has to pay for 2 ( the cheapest item will be free ).
Problem is that if a customer pays using PayPal then I don’t have a chance to amend the invoice because payment is made at checkout.
I don’t suppose there is any way to delay the payment.
Answer is almost certainly no but asking never hurts.

What version are you running?

Can’t find anywhere in admin to tweek it.
Discounts no good.
Promotions same.

Hi, if you had been on 2.0.# there may have been a way to do a promotion, not sure but possibly.
Don’t think 1.3.5 is flexible enough. SORRY
