Default Daily , Montly , Yearly Profit Reports



Hello, I would like to know what you guys think of a addon that is capable to calculate total profit after the order is placed.



Customer (A) buys a Notebook for $100.00 *Order ID 702. The order is in “Processed” Stage. Once the Notebook is in the mail changed the order status from Processed to Complete. Then input how much it cost to ship the notebook and how much you paid for the notebook on the same order page *Order ID702



Once you input the your cost and expense to ship the order hit Save. Once the page refreshes I’d like to see a total profit in green, and when I go back to view all orders I would like to see total profit on the right hand side of the screen.



I hope this makes since. It’s sorta like a mini-Quick Books addon that is very flexible .





The View All Orders Page has:

Gross

Total Paid



I’d like to see

Gross

Total Paid

Income

Having a profit cost calculator for products and shipping cost.



For example an item is sold for 5$ and the cost is 1$ and shipping cost is 2$ total profit for the order is 2$ and cost is 3$. Then for a the same order the product cost goes up. But the change for the product cost only effects future orders and not previous orders. A Cost of history would be nice too :slight_smile: for each product like it was 1$ then it was 2$.

I really hope this will get “voted” through. A quick view of the net profit for the order is a great idea.

KBM - did you ever find a solution to this issue? Do you track profit/loss in CS-Cart?

Sounds cool… can’t wait till release. The default reporting is cludgy at best. Would love to have a simple P/L sheet even for a given time period. It is amazing to me this is not included in any sort of easy way. Even a YTD P/L should be available on the dashboard as an option.

I’m excited myself about this addon. Be sure to check it out on Sno’s website. We should all come together on this. This mod alone will be a awesome feature to have, and once used I think most will say… “wow” I can’t believe I didn’t come up with this.
