In other shopping carts including the one I built for my previous employer (that i can’t use anymore) if the credit card is declined, you are given the option to use another one and try again. Tihs doesn’t seem to happen with cs-cart. At least not in the way it’s configured and I don’t know how to configure it differently.
Is there support for this? I thinkit’s pretty darn irregular that someone simply gets a decline error and they can’t correct it. Then in the admin section there is no option to charge the card again, they will have to go to the payment gateway to manually charge it, that sucks.
i just went throught this yesterday. the customer had to go throught the complete order process 5 times. then the cart( for some reason) didnt charge shipping and there is no way for me to do that. i just emailed the customer.

Hello! I was testing my new paypal pro setup yesterday and I actually ran across this issue. If I remember correctly, when I got the declined message I just clicked the back button and was able to re-enter my information and move on. You might want to give this a try or put up a message along with the error message that shows up…in fact, I just tried this and it actually clears out all the fields for you as well. I would add something with the error message that is generated to just hit the back button if it is declined! Hope I was able to help you out!

and put in for the customer to hit the back button and try again
Interesting. I would not have thought to do that.
i always forget about the languages, i went in to see if i could find the page for the checkout with the declined message but i figured id try that first.
