Hi,
Every time i back up from the admin cp if i select compress the files, then download from the restore section, when i go to open the file it says the file is corrupt.
I searched the forums for an answer - it seemed that adding more memory to config.local.php should sort the problem out, I assigned 1024M to both php.ini master and local and 1024M in config.local.php restarted apache but this didn’t fix the problems.
if i ftp in and download the files from the backup directory then the files open fine and don’t corrupt
Any ideas would be gratefully received.
Thanks
Are you using Internet Explorer? IE is notorious for corrupting anything but .zip compressed files.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm using Chrome or Firefox - the problem happens with both.
Just tried IE 9 and for what ever reason it works fine with IE 9 but not chrome or Firefox - any suggestions welcome, thanks
I tend to have the opposite problem - Firefox works everytime, IE works intermittently.
Does this happen on only one computer? Have you tried using Firefox in Safe Mode to download? A new user profile? Those are basic diagnostics for Firefox.
If the problem still persists after you have attempted the above, your server will likely need to be looked at and so I would advise to open a ticket with CS-Cart Support.
