I checked both files and both were as per original installation.
My web host ( as they usually do ) blamed the cart application.
Any guesses as to why this error would pop up ???

Ask them to restart Mysql server.
The host mentioned a cost involved and it appears that the cart software caused it.
Are these things haunted or what ? Crashing one minute up and running the next.
It's all well and fine to say restart the Mysql server but what could have caused the
dysfunction in the first place ?
