Customer For Less Than 24 Hours...already Fedup...what Am I Doing Wrong?

Hello,

First of all, I've installed many carts and pieces of forum software in the past. Directions have been for the most part very simple and straightforward.

I met my match with this software already. I downloaded my zip file package and the “tgz” package for good measure. I've extracted the zip on my computer using windows extraction and also extracted the tgz package using 7zip. I've even extracted it using my forum software by directly uploading to my FTP server and having it extract all contents in the site root.

I keep getting a blank white page when I go to http://www.love925.com/install/

I opened a ticket and this is what I was told:
Thank you for the request.

I got the following error message at http://www.love925.com/

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required '/home/love925/public_html/init.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/love925/public_html/index.php on line 22

It was caused by the init.php file missing from the root directory. I added the file from the default installation and got the following error:

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required '/home/love925/public_html/app/lib/vendor/autoload.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/love925/public_html/init.php on line 21

It is caused by the missing app/lib/vendor directory.

It seems that the installation package was unpacked incorrectly. Please extract the archive once again to the installation directory in order to resolve the problem.

Please note that this ticked was estimated at 10 support credits.

Thank you.

I'm attaching my screenshots to this in hopes to get a faster answer otherwise I'll be moving to X-Cart and requesting a refund here. I'm hoping it an issue with me doing something wrong because this software shows lots of promise for my business.

They've already taken 10 credits away out of my 50 and I haven't even seen a screen for installation.

Had something similar and some of the files just did not get “unpacked”, uploaded or whatever the heck happened. I ended up deleting all of the junk on the server, uploaded a new batch of files, unpacked and all went well. I did have to change some permissions on my server too. CS tries to make them all “777” and my server would not work like that because of security issues so I had to change them to “755”.

I will admit that it is a bummer how fast CS takes the support credits. No offense to their support, but I pretty much hate asking them any questions and only do it as a last resort. In their defense it does sound like they gave you the exact “missing” file and file folders. So it did require time from them to look at your server.

There's no big secret to it. It installs in the same way as all the other carts I've used.

Have you followed the instructions here?

Do you guys mind re-downloading the zip file from their site to your machine and unzipping it and posting a screenshot of the root folder of the unzipped folder?

Thanks for the help so far. I've unzipped using the Windows 7 built-in extractor, WinZip, 7Zip, and also the one that's included w/ the Apache server. Same result with missing files. I've re-downloaded them as well numerous times.

Just tried again from the helpdesk and same thing. I agree the filesize seems way off.

You need to contact them and they should rectify the problem. I know you not too happy with their support but they do take care of their customers.

DELETED

Thanks for your help guys. I was able to use another program to extract the *.tgz file. The zip is corrupt in their file area. I will request my 10 credits back.

I have had corrupted downloads in the past from the file area, no idea why
