Custom Registration Form For Vendors/customers

I started to use cs cart maybe 10 years ago. It didn t had option to customize the form to have custom fields depending on the needs.

For example we do have 2 types of partners customers/vendors

  1. individuals
  2. companies

Individuals need specific fields

Companies need specific fields that do not apply for individuals such as VAT, TAX no, Bank Name, Banc Account.

Even today on 2021 when every shop even open source have the option to show the fields in registration form based on type individual or company....

Cs cart have some good features but there is a time when I say to myself, choose another ecommerce platform that listen to customer voice. And in the end, if I would not see improvements, is what I will do.

How did you solve this, the ones that you own cs cart license?

There are some addons on marketplace but are not displaying as far as I know fields based on requirements mentioned above.

I think the only way is to rename profile fields to "TAX (required for companies)"

yes but some companies need more details not only one field that is peculiar to companies

  • company VAT
  • company registration number / trade register
  • etc...

Unfortunately, it does not work with vendor profile fields
