I am looking for a developer that can develop a addon that allows to remove product from categories and not what you have now by default and that is in order to remove product from a category you have to go by it one by one, edit each product individual and remove the category from the individual product.
The addon should allow smooth upgrades from the store without affecting the theme.
You can do this already: Choose several products, click Categories in the sticky bar (this bar appears when you select at least one product), uncheck the categories you want to remove, then click Apply.
That is not the preferred method in our case. We need to be able to go into a category and remove the products linked to that category, that is much faster and less of change of removing products from categories that should not be removed from that category

Are you on CS-Cart or Multi-Vendor, and which version? Multi-Vendor changes how category links are scoped per company.
What should happen when the category you are removing is the product’s main category?
What should happen if it is the product’s last category? Block it, warn and skip, or move the product to a fallback category.
