Does the standard cs cart search work without the Searchanise addon installed?

Yes, default CS-Cart search will work without the Searchanise addon installed.

I thought so.

It has been a long while since I used it.

Do you have any ideas why it may not be working?

I disabled all 3rd party add ons and tested with no success.
