I have noticed my cs cart store is a lot slower at loading than my old zen cart store.
Sometimes when i back click i just get the default background and the rest of the page doesant load …
Hopefully this is just a server problem… ??

That could depend on several things. If you have a lot of images that are not optimized you can speed things up by optimizing them.
cool, How do you optimize the pics?
Download them and run them through an optimization program such as Photoshop using a batch function to reduce the quality without losing visual quality. You can probably find a free program on the Internet. I do this all the time and it helps.
Hm… I just did a apache benchmark test and cs-cart is slow.
