CS-Cart SEO Broken

Hi everyone, tonight I was trying to enable HotLink protection on my hosting provider (FusedNetwork) and it broke my CS-Cart demo site (http://shop.designinside.us) along with two of my wordpress sites. After I noticed the broken settings, I disabled the HotLink protection on my host, and I fixed Wordpress by rewriting the permalink settings (maybe this will give someone a hint on how to fix this), however my cs-cart is still broken. I can see the main page, however any of my sub-pages (http://shop.designinside.us/rugs-and-windows/rugs/) are not visible and display a 404 error. Also, within the Admin pages, the “Addons” page will not display the modules (see screenshot).

Does anyone know how to fix this? I checked the file security settings, the .htaccess file, and everything appears to work correctly. Is there some way to rewrite the catalog?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I’ve never heard of hotlink protection and if it breaks cs-cart it doesn’t seem like something worth lookin into. This is what i do when I messed up my cs-cart:

Swap the database with a backed-up database

Download the whole site and compare it to a backed up version or the live version of the shop with beyond compare (google this) to see what was changed.

There is one achilles’ heel… you need backups!!!

goodluck!

I’m pretty sure hotlink protection changes your .htaccess files and you probably overwrote the files CS has installed.

I tried replacing all of the .htaccess files and that didn’t work either. I reinstalled and am rebuilding everything. Next time, I’ll backup more often.
