I am confused on the Free Version. The way it reads ([url=“Prices - CS-Cart Multi-Vendor and Shopping Cart”]https://www.cs-cart.com/compare.html[/url]) is if you do not need:[list]

[]Membership levels and access permission rules

[]Return merchandise authorization

[]Multiple languages

[*]Multiple currencies

you can run unlimited stores for Free. Am I reading this correctly. If so, I will never be buying another license again. I do not need or use those extra features.

Cannot get the install to work… It states that the .htaccess files are missing… Yet they are there… File permissions are all correct… Not sure whats up…

Glad 4.0.1 is available now. Any plan to create 3-4 default templates for customers to chose from ? Is the template from 3.x compatible with 4.x ?

Good news. But releasing a major version without an update tool isn't the best way (as on the v2 and v3…). From posts I see people hate waiting.

I have logged into the demo mode and like what I see. My only disappointment at this stage is that I would like to have seen a toolbar on the description editor when bulk editing products. Even a basic editor/toolbar would be nice. Clients really do not like seeing/using HTML as they find it difficult.



Is there a way we could add a toolbar ourselves as the site developer?

I am using 3.0.5 Pro so can i able to upgrade to 4.x version at free of cost ?

There are lots of people like me who need the new features in V4 to start our businesses. Surely it's much better to give us something that is useable so we can get on rather than having to wait for features that we don't need?



If you're already up and running with a V3 store then it's not going to hurt you to wait another month whereas it's a major issue for me.

In previous versions, language options was easily manageable at front and admin panels. We couldnt find this option at V4. Can you please let us know how can we translate the missing phrases.

I think a new thread in the forum to talk about this new release is very important.



One of the first thing i have noticed is the following:



I have installed the new version in its free mode. I pretend to work with Euro and i know multicurrency is not active in this version but, i don´t find the way to set EUR as the currency.



Just installed the software there are three currencies, $, € and £. The only active is $. I have tried to set € but i cannot activate it. Then y have tried to delete $ and £ but i cannot delete anyone. Then i tried to change $ with € but it is duplicated (because i cannot delete the €) and again i cannot do this.



How can i solve this?



Another question i have is how does the My_changes addon work now?

I haven't had much chance to look at 4.0x yet, but before I do and make any recommendations to my clients can I get a few answers:


  1. Has the Product Configurator Addon been improved or enhanced in any way in version 4.0x? If so what new features?
  2. Has the Buy Together Addon been improved or enhanced in any way in version 4.0x? If so what new features?
  3. Has the ability to purchase multiple items at once been added back into cs-cart?
  4. Has a Date option or Calendar option for products been added to version 4.0x?
  5. Has the ability to sync Categories and its products across multiple stores been added to version 4.0x?

Translation mode is temporarily disabled in v4.0.1

It will be available in one of the next minor releases.

Just go to Administration → Languages in your admin panel.
