CS-Cart 2.1.4 Released
Dear tbirnseth,

This is not true at the moment. I admit that there were some cases in the past. But now we prevent such situations.
I do remember seeing the upload date of 2.1.3 changing after 2 days. I was glad I waited with the upgrade cause apparently a new 2.1.3 was uploaded at that moment.

Glad you don’t do this anymore

I thought that jQuery was being upgraded in this release? Was last anyone mentioned on these forums? I understand releasing this version for bug fixes though, that was definitely needed. Thanks for that.

I guess jQuery will be upgraded in the next release? I’d surely like to see it!

That’s certainly great news. The more professional things become, but better for all…

I have not seen 2.1.4 in my upgrade center. Is it still being rolled out?

Do you have “Check for updates automatically” checked in admin settings? If so, I reckon you’ll just have to wait.?

If you want to see live demo with proper integration of moneybookers

Is this site a CS-Cart site? If so, do I need to upgrade from my old 1.3.5 to be able to use this Moneybookers pay mod?

I did a test transaction at the quoted site and I see that I’m able to use a credit card without leaving. This is pretty exciting! Hope I can use it.

Is this because its not compatible with the cscart system or they just haven’t made the effort? This seems like a nice 3rd party payment mod that somebody should build. I’d buy it.
Hi,

It’s hard from me to tell if reported bug fixes reported in the last version have been addressed in the current version.

Is it possible to reference the Bug Number next to the fix?

I am trying to see if these were addressed in 2.1.4

There may be others, but I think it would be a good idea to note what in the change log addressed which bug. I have seen this in other carts change logs.

Thank you,

Bob,

As I was curious my self if the bug reports I submitted, and were flagged as “fixed” we really fixed or not, I looked into the code for both your list of bugs above, and my 2, and my results are as follows:

(This is from downloaded 2.1.4 code).

2395 - Fixed (mine)

2405 - Fixed

2410 - Fixed

2412 - NOT Fixed

2414 - Partial

2421 - Fixed (mine)

2432 - Fixed

2445 - Fixed

2461 - Fixed

On #2412 being “partial”, I state that because the function replacement in controlls/admin/exim.php is NOT there, it is the original function still, but the changes to the core/fn.images.php are there. So its a partial fix.

Hope this helps. Glad to see majority of things fixed, including my submitted bugs too.

I have only recently installed 2.1.3 about a month ago and noticed the update in the admin area.

Not sure yet how the CS Cart updates work so was wondering if the update effect any work that has been done to the skins or styles layout?

Don’t want to mess anything up we ahve already done.

Thanks

If you did not use hooks for your modifications than in all liklihood your changes will be overwritten by the upgrade(s). However, the upgrade center allows you to “diff” the changes from before. However, the changes must be manually merged again.

Very quick and painless update. All seems good so far.

Ditto!

Totally painless, drama free upgrade…

Anybody know if this actually works? Where the customer can pay without leaving via Moneybookers?

Btw, I wrote Moneybookers a few other questions about their service, but this part of the answer pertains to using them as an onsite payment option:

“Please be informed that our gateway can be integrated in an Iframe and it is up to your developers to do that. More information and an example regarding this your developers can find in our best practice integration manual attached to this email. The page is 13th and paragraph is 4.1.”

So my question is, did CScart already build this new integration with the newest release? And if not, can somebody build this?

Why don’t you guys start a MoneyBookers specific thread so ti can be searched in the future eaiser and specific to this issue. This thread is 2.1.4.

If you go to https://www.cs-cart.com/

Next to CS-Cart 2.1.4 Released you will see moneybookers logo, as far as I understand this release is about this payment method mainly and few bug fixes. About bugs you can discuss in Bug tracker

Using 2.1.4 MVE

can someone test this please?

to repro:

  1. do test checkout (using One page checkout)
  2. when in step 4, click “change” of step 2 (to edit shipping address)
  3. click continue under step 2 (you dont have to make any changes)

result: Another instance of the checkout page was generated at the bottom. Everything will go back to normal if I do a refresh of the page.

    thanks!

All our mods were tested and updated(if required) to be compatible with this version too.
