Well finally 2.0.4 work as a catalog right… even you can use de My list section…
But still has got a lot of coding bugs I hope cs-cart developers fix them soon
Unfortunately you’ll never find a piece of software that appeals to everyones desires. Most people would use a shopping cart as a shopping cart, to buy and sell products.
You wouldn’t tell a van manufacturer they should sell vans without engines because you only want to use it for storage.
There is no reason why you couldn’t modify the code yourself to fit your needs, but i admit this is something the developers could have included. I’m sure if you need help there are many people on this forum will do there best to help.

you can actually remove the price and everything you need removed pretty easily, less then 15 minutes of work and it’s done, CS2 will work as a catalog only system perfectly this way…

I dunno much about php, but I have been able to change 1.3.5 in a catalog… “Always reciving some help of the people of this forum”, so I know it wont be so difficult, but what I think it´s the makers of cs-cart should think about people who are going to use the shop in a catalog mode, they could sell a few more software with just an option to activate or desactivate the shop.
I think it would be interesting for everybody… 
I bought the software thinking I was using like a shop, but today I´m using it like a catalog…
