I honestly believe this is the best version since 1.3.5. The multiple tracking number feature and the admin back-end speed is enough to be happy about. Since we left 1.3.5 we had a hard time shipping to other countries. A message “unable to ship to your location” was displayed all the time as the user was trying to check out.
After a little frustration and a little know how Snorocket fixed this problem for me within 15-20 minutes. To my knowledge the shipping settings was not setup wrong but I guess going from 1.3.5 to 2.0.6 to 2.0.8 something got lost in the upgrade process that was important.
For our business use CS-Cart would be perfect if the manufactures list was still available in a drop down menu. I also loved the way you could play with the discount settings while placing a order in 1.3.5 back-end. In 2.0.12 you can change the retail price, but you simply can not apply extra discounts quickly for the customer. You can take a shortcut at the end of the checkout and input -$$.00 for the shipping charge to lower the cost of the entire order. However, that may confuse your customer.
During the upgrade process from 2.0.8 to 2.0.12 Snorocket kept in contact by phone and e-mail and even visited our live chat after the upgrade to see how everything was running. He was excellent to work with and very professional. I will use his services in the future due to his excellent response time, friendlynest, and “will-do” attitude. If your afraid to update from your current version pass the headach to Sno and focus on your customers.

I must disappoint you, it is not a final version, many changes to come work to do as usual… Upgrades may look nice but they can impact your sales if it is a live store.

I’m not sure what you mean? I know CS-Cart will release never versions but .12 seems to be working alright thus far.

Darius, let’s hope there never is a “final version”
And yes, there will be at least a few more bugs fixed in 2.0.13, and perhaps an added feature or two.
