I have posted a new feature request in the bug tracker… let me (and CS-Cart) know if you agree this is a good idea.
This time around, it is Crosslink-able Features:

It seems like it would not be a terribly tough modification to do - but I’d imagine they would be smarter about it and utilize some of the filter-type functions to get more efficient results than I would cludging around.
