I’ve added several products to my cart. All of which are “downloadable” products (the store is mainly for applications).
When setting the application as downloadable, the quantity field can’t be modified and is fixed to ‘1’. Since we have a lot of users registering multiple licenses of an application (for family users, multiple devices and so forth), we need the ability to have the quantity modified by the user even for downloadable products.
I tried settings the product as a regular product (without checking the downloadable option), but then the user is presented with shipping cost and details - which I’d like to have removed, since there is no need for shipping details in the checkout process.
It seems that using downloadable product isn’t good since the quantity gets fixed to 1 without any way to change it, and, while removing the downloadable mark allows to change the quantity, it brings the shipping details as part of the checkout process, which isn’t logical.
Does any one know if there is a way around this?
