I have a product that is available in three different formats:
Audio CD
MP3 CD
MP3 download
These all have different prices and different weights. Obviously the downloadable file would not have a shipping fee or weight.
I would like to configure this as one product on my store, with the three different formats showing in either a drop-down menu or as radio buttons.
Anyone know how to do this, or if it can even be done?
Not sure exactly what you mean but may be a confgurator!
Support tells me this is not possible in the standard cart functionality, but they are going to give me a quote for custom programming.
CS-Cart engineers want $250 to create this functionality for me!
I’m just totally astonished at their pricing for custom work. For the shopping cart I used before CS-Cart, I could get mods for $25 - $50.
Why would you sell a shopping cart for $265 and then charge $250 for a small modification that really should be part of the standard cart functionality? I don’t get it.
Needless to say, I won’t be paying for this. I will just set up two separate products, one for a MP3 download and one for a CD.
I do hope that this becomes part of the standard cart functionality in the near future.
I’m new to CS-Cart, but I had expected this to be a feature in this day and age…
If it isn’t, I really think it should be… digital goods are only getting more popular.
john.
go to block, All Pages, Disable those blocks which you don’t want to see on search page.
If you want to active those blocks on products or pages, than you have to make new block again on products and pages.
