Comparison Of Cs-Cart Product Designer Add-Ons (For Customizing/personalizing Products In Cs-Cart)

I've started this thread so hopefully it will make it simpler for everyone to see the main differences between the various CS-Cart Product Designer add-ons, and possibly ensure there is healthy competition between them to continue improving their add-ons.

In the past, it seems everyone used this product designer add-on to allow customers to customize/personalize products in cs-cart -

1) ALT-TEAM FLASH BASED PRODUCT DESIGNER ADD-ON :

http://marketplace.c…t-designer.html

As you can see, it has a very extensive list of features.

The main problems are that it's based on flash, and isn't compatible with mobile phones.

I'm aware of 2 new product designer add-ons that are currently in development -

2) ALT-TEAM NON-FLASH PRODUCT DESIGNER ADD-ON :

http://forum.cs-cart…-is-interested/

It's being developed by Alt-Team, the same dudes who developed the old flash-based product designer above.

3) CART-POWER NON-FLASH PRODUCT DESIGNER ADD-ON :

COMPARISON IS REQUIRED…

My gut feeling is that the Alt-Team guys have the experience and will probably end up with the best product designer, however it's constantly being delayed and it looks like it still lacks a bunch of features that the old flash version has.

Unfortunately I haven't had time to properly compare the features of these 3 add-ons, but hopefully someone out there will have the time to do this!?

To make this easier for everyone, maybe ALT-TEAM and CART-POWER developers can submit a post on this thread listing the features their add-on has which the other add-on doesn't?

We will need to pick a product designer add-on soon, and like most people, at this stage we're not sure which way to jump…

Thanks!

In my mind it depends on how many bells and whistles you want. Both of them look appealing to us but we may just go with the one from cart-power because while it has less, it seems like it would do what we want and the price is better.

I agree, Cs Cart Power looks more basic but would “do the job” for many.

I am waiting in eager anticipation for the alt team one, as I have used the product designer from them since its inception and it has grown to a decent product that has increased my turnover many times over. I am expecting that the promised (but yes delayed) .html version is of the same standard from them before making judgement/deciding to try other versions.

As regards the Flash V html version…html/js is the way to go for better conversions

Our non flash Product Designer was released.

You are welcome to estimate it.

Best regards, Alt-team.

Recently, our new Cs-Cart Product Designer based on HTML5 has been released. It combines the great performance and feature-rich functionality.

It works with PHP7 and has almost all features of our Flash Product Designer.

Recommended, my conversions jumped 20% at least when I switched from flash version
