Checkout Page Shipping Estimator not calculating based on Zip

Hi team,

I’m trying to troubleshoot an issue that I have with the Lite Checkout page. It seems that whenever I update the Zip code for the customer address it doesn’t trigger a new estimate to be generated.

It also seems to revert any changes to the zip when a new estimate is generated if the customer has a default value on their customer profile.

Having a look at the templates for both the estimator and the checkout page I can’t find anything that seems to be directly tied to that calculation that I could effectively slot the zip field input into. Even if I could I assume that the function that creates the estimate likely isn’t setup to use the zip for calculation.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I’ve tried looking for third party add-ons for the checkout but I have a suspicion it won’t be that simple.

Please, make sure that the s_zipcode profile field is used at the checkout’s Customer address block.

Nearly perfect! The Zipcode now stays when the page is refreshed, however there is an overlay on the shipping methods (image attached below) that does not trigger when the Zipcode is updated.

With that said, the shipping rate does update when I change the zipcode. I would just like it to update when the overlay is clicked, the same as how the other fields do.

I am afraid, but currently the zipcode field only works the way you have described it: automatically refreshes the shipping rates.
