Changed Product Name Showing In Order History Since Ordering

We have come across an incident where we have update a product to a new version and now a customer who ordered a few months back is looking at his order history saying that he should have had the new version not the old one as the name changes here to the current name - not as it was when ordering (as per the order confirmation emails).

Is there no way to fix this as can cuase problems/confusion?

Unfortunately, CS-Cart stores only product IDs, not their names or descriptions
