Change colors and background images, edit CSS

Ok…I know this may sound sill, but is there a tutorial on how to customize the colors and backgrounds and different things outside of blocks?





I just need to be shown once or read where, or how to do it.

Thanks for the info.Would it be a better idea to copy the existing basic folder and edit that?

I've never done it that way.



I would think you may have to edit the template files regardless of whether it was named basic or “hawks theme”.



I'll let someone else correct me if I'm wrong there.



Typically my clients want the least time-consuming method of customizing their basic theme to provide a unique look and the My Changes add-on has always provided.
