I work with over 2,000 categories and it would be nice if i had options when importing products from csv to be able to enter category sef url’s and meta tags
It seems like doing this with the product import might get unwieldy. Would you need to specify the catalog information for each product?
Would this be better as a separate catalog import where you could import description, metadata, user groups and SEO name?

It probably would so a separate category import area would be perfect, allowing us to set metadata, SEO name, descriptions and all other relevant information for each category we are setting up or updating, category ID would be a required upload field just the same as products are updated/added
