We have updated our Smart image cropper add-on to version 2.8 from 27 of October 2021. What is new:
[+] - The ability to restore the original image after the manual crop was added.
[!] - An error occurred when cropping images if the Crop type: “Crop white background†was selected. Fixed.
[!] - The original image is cached in the manual crop pop-up. As a result, when you open the pop-up again, the result of the previous cropping was not visible. Fixed.
[!] - The white background could be cropped incorrectly if the background of the image was close to white. Fixed.

We have updated our Smart image cropper add-on to version 2.9 from 29 of October 2021. What is new:
[+] -A button for launching the crop for all images of a single product was added.
[+] - A button for launching the CRON command for cropping images was added.
[*] - The crop is available only for product images, blog and CP: Power blog. These objects have separate crop settings now.
[-] - The setting for selecting the objects for the crop was removed.

We have updated our Smart Image Cropper add-on to version 2.11 from 11 of July 2022.
What is new:
[*] - Images are resized only if either Crop white background and smart crop or Smart crop crop type is selected.
[+] - Information about manual crop actions and information about resizing the images is now recorded in the log.
[+] - Links to the objects on the log page were added. They are displayed if there is data about the object only.
[+] - A setting for resizing new uploaded images was added. It is ignored for import and 1C.
[+] - The ability to resize images automatically, even if the crop type is set to "Not crop" was added.
[+] - A separate image queue for resizing was added.
[!] - After image resize, the data on the image size was not updated in the database. Fixed.
[!] - The code was optimized to reduce the number of queries to the database.
[-] - The "Live" work mode was removed (If it was used, we recommend selecting and configuring the CRON work mode).

We have updated our Smart Image Cropper add-on to version 2.12 from 24 of August 2022.
What is new:
[+] - Added two new crop types: "Center crop" and "White background + center crop". The algorithm of cropping is similar to the already existing Smart Crop type, but cropping is performed relative to the physical center of the image.
[+] - WebP format support was added.
[*] - The image to be cropped is now inscribed in height in the manual cropping interface.
[*] - The cropping area selection frame is now set to the image borders in the manual cropping interface by default.
[*] - Automatic positioning of the image cropping area for different aspect ratios was optimized.
[*] - The logic of the add-on's operation via CRON has been redesigned.
[*] - The page with the list of images in the queue for cropping has been changed and optimized.
[!] - Pressing the "Flip horizontally" button again did not return the image to its original position. Corrected.
[!] - In some cases, setting one of the settings of the "Resize images" functionality: "Maximum width" or "Maximum height" to 0 resulted in an error. Corrected.
[!] - In some cases, the resulting images could contain black areas (stripes). Corrected.

We have updated our Smart Image Cropper add-on to version 3.3 from 08 of April 2024.
What is new:
[+] - The ability to set the proportions of manually cropped images was added.
[!] - There was a problem when using the GD library, the transparent background of the png images was replaced with a black background after cropping. Fixed.
[!] - Watermarks were not added to the thumbnails after cropping. Fixed.
