Hello, johnbol1!

Language variable search_products is a CS-Cart variable, it does not belong to our add-on.
Please clarify what exactly you want to do with it, it is not clear from your explanation.
The language variable is still available in Administration → Text & languages → Edit texts.

HI, previously when using cart power live search addon, the language I had in my search box from old CS cart “search anything here” remained showing in the search box. Screenshot by Lightshot

Dear Friends!

We have updated our Live Search add-on to version 3.12 from 20 of September 2023. What is new:

[+] - Automatic generation of search words from the product name if it contains certain characters was added.
[+] - The ability to search through SEO filter pages was added.
[+] - The search query history display for authorized users by clicking on the search field was added.
[+] - The ability to use search words for categories was added.
[+] - The ability to show category images instead of text was added.
[+] - The ability to automatically delete search requests older than N days from the search history was added.
[+] - The ability to hide a category from the list of found categories was added.
[*] - Synonyms now work for search by category.
[*] - The “Home” and “End” keys in the search line move the cursor to the beginning and end of the line, respectively.
[*] - The add-on was adapted for Unitheme mobile search.
[*] - Minor style edits for compatibility with Unitheme.
[!] - The counter for the number of found products in the category filter worked incorrectly. Fixed.
[!] - When receiving a filter for a category, there were duplicated requests. Fixed.
[!] - If there were 2 search forms on the page, the search motivation worked only on the first one. Fixed.
[!] - In some cases, stop words were processed incorrectly. Fixed.
[!] - Products from hidden categories were not included in the search cache. Fixed.
[!] - When adding an item to the cart from the live search window, the delete item button was hidden in the cart. Fixed.
[!] - A database error occurred when generating the index; as a result, not all data was written to the database. Fixed.
[!] - There were issues caching product data on the additional storefronts. Fixed.
[!] - Grouping by category did not work if several categories had the same priority and were sorted by priority. Fixed.
[!] - The search gave different results in the live search window and on the search results page when search acceleration was enabled. Fixed.

We have updated our Live Search add-on to version 3.13 from 27 of November 2023. What is new:

[*] - The add-on was adapted for Unitheme mobile search.
[*] - Small changes made to the styles for compatibility with Unitheme.
[!] - Search by description did not exclude html tags. Behavior fixed when using cache.
[!] - A PHP error occurred when displaying a category on a product with the selected color. Fixed.
[!] - An error occurred when search acceleration and sorting by price were enabled. Fixed.
[!] - Multi-Vendor Ultimate: Categories from other storefronts were displayed in the search results. Fixed.
[!] - CS-Cart Ultimate: The price for the shared product was displayed incorrectly. Fixed
[!] - There were problems installing/uninstalling the add-on from earlier versions. Fixed.
