We released a new Add-on JSON-LD Markup.

The JSON-LD Markup add-on automatically marks up data on the pages of your store to generate structured data for search engines.


JSON-LD is Google's recommended format to markup structured data.


CS-Cart has a built-in structured data markup tool. But its functionality is quite limited.

Why it is important:


1. Higher ranking in Google search engine results pages (SERP). Take a look at the TOP-10 of any search engine - all the leaders use structured data. Do you need more arguments?

2. Better visibility of the site in the SERP thanks to the rich snippets. They generate 15-50% more clicks in comparison with standard search result.

3. Additional traffic from the Google Knowledge panel and the Top stories carousel. JSON-LD Markup also structures other pages: articles, vacancies, company information, reviews and others. This data appears in special Google search units.

Compatibility

CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor versions 4.3.x and above.

Works correctly with the popular themes YOUPI and UniTheme.

Does it publish Availability for an item as 'InStock' rather than 'Outofstock' if an item is set to 'Do not track' while having an inventory value of 0?

Dear Friends!

We have updated our JSON-LD Markup add-on to version 1.5 from 15 December 2021.

What is new:

[+] - The ability to include AggregateRating in the markup of the organization information was added.
[+] - The ability to mark company data as "LocalBusiness" was added.
[+] - The company phone number markup was added to contactPoint.
[*] - The protocol in links on schema.org was changed from http to https.
[!] - The product markup was duplicated. Fixed.
