Greetings. I have set my client's cart to allow a week (168 hours) for electronic downloads to expire under the General > Settings > Catalog option. However, the cart is completely ignoring this and expiring the links after the default 3 days. I do not see product-specific settings that would override this, so what am I missing? Thanks for your help.
The terms of the expiration period are probably written into the order, like the return period is.
Changing the default value will only affect new orders.
Look at the order details directly in your database tables.
You might try clearing your cache… The expiration time of a link should be checked only when it is attempted to be downloaded or viewed in a list of “available” downloads.
